Undergraduate – Internships
All students are encouraged to complete internships in the grape and/or wine industry and to participate in undergraduate research programs on campus.
The CALS Career Development Office offers numerous resources available to you at Cornell that can assist you in finding a suitable host, many of which are listed below. You can also contact the Viticulture and Enology Major Coordinator at ksu2@cornell.edu for more ideas.
- Get Individual Assistance from one of the CALS Career Development Office counselors or advisors.
- Review the Select Internship Files. One of the most widely utilized internship resources for CALS students is now available on-line. You'll find a variety of paid and unpaid, regional, national, and international opportunities with internship descriptions and contact information. You may search for opportunities by major, class year, as well as geographic location. Detailed information about these internships is also available in the CALS Career Development Office, 177 Roberts Hall.
- Browse the Summer Jobs Section of the library in 177 Roberts, which has such useful resources as America's Top 106 Internships, The National Directory of Internships, Peterson's Guide to Internships, and more.
- See the list of web postings! The CALS CDO has selected several great websites that post internships and summer jobs to assist you in your on-line searching. Additional websites are also available in the CDO library catalog.
